Oblò Protection — terms

Oblò Protection is an optional, paid commercial warranty that you can add when you buy a product from 99 €, on the product page or in the cart. It covers only the product you buy it with, as shown in the order confirmation.

If there is a lack of conformity you are entitled by law, from the seller Oblò S.r.l., to free remedies — repair or replacement and, where provided, a price reduction or termination of the contract — for 2 years from delivery (arts. 128 ff. Italian Consumer Code). Oblò Protection does not affect or replace these rights.

Guarantor

The warranty is given by [Nome del garante S.p.A.], [Indirizzo del garante]. You deal with Oblò for every request: we collect it and arrange the repair with the guarantor.

Duration

You can choose cover up to 3 years or up to 5 years from delivery of the product. Cover starts when the 2-year legal guarantee ends, so it runs for 1 or 3 years.

What is covered

  • Electrical, electronic and mechanical breakdowns that stop the product working normally, arising from normal household use.
  • Repair, with labour, parts and the technician’s call-out included: at home for large appliances, at a service centre for products that travel by courier.
  • If the product cannot be repaired, replacement with a new product with equivalent features, up to the price paid for the product.

What is not covered

  • Accidental damage: drops, knocks, spilt liquids, power surges and lightning.
  • Professional or commercial use, or use not in line with the manufacturer’s manual.
  • Consumables and parts subject to normal wear, such as filters, seals, bulbs and brushes.
  • Cosmetic defects that do not affect operation.
  • Limescale and blockages caused by skipping the maintenance the manufacturer specifies.
  • Work, modifications or installations by people not authorised by the manufacturer, the guarantor or Oblò.

How to claim

Write to [email protected] or call 02 0000 0000 (Mon–Sat 9am–7pm) with your order number, the model and a description of the fault. Keep the order confirmation: it is the proof of purchase of Oblò Protection.

Price

The price depends on the product’s price: it is shown on the Services page and next to the option before you buy, and you pay it with the order.

Withdrawal

You may withdraw from Oblò Protection, even if you keep the product, within 30 days of delivery of the product, in the same ways as for the purchase: we refund its full price. If you withdraw from the purchase of the product, Oblò Protection ends and we refund its price (art. 77 Consumer Code).
