What data and why
- Orders — name, contact details, address, invoicing data: to perform the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and for tax obligations (art. 6.1.c). Retention: 10 years for accounting records.
- Support — the messages you send: to reply (art. 6.1.b), up to 24 months.
- Newsletter — email: with your consent (art. 6.1.a), until you unsubscribe in one click.
- Statistics and marketing — browsing data via cookies: only with your consent, see the cookie policy.
Providing your data
Order data are needed to conclude and perform the contract: without them we cannot process the order. The newsletter and statistics and marketing cookies are optional: if you do not accept them, you can still buy on the site.
Who receives them
Couriers and installers, payment and financing providers, IT and email providers, tax advisers: only the data needed, as processors or independent controllers. Any transfers outside the EU rely on appropriate safeguards (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).
Split air conditioners (equipment with fluorinated gases that is not hermetically sealed): we report the sale to the Italian F-gas database (Banca dati gas fluorurati), run by the competent Chamber of Commerce, with the type of equipment, the number and date of the invoice or receipt, your personal details and the declaration that a certified company will install it. This is a legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR; art. 16 DPR 146/2018). After the installation, the certified company that carries it out also reports the job to the database, including its date and place.
Automated decisions
Oblò makes no decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that have legal effects on you. A financing application is assessed by [Nome finanziaria S.p.A.], as an independent controller, under its own privacy notice.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing (arts. 15–22 GDPR) by writing to [email protected]. You can withdraw any consent you gave us at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal: for the newsletter with the link in every email, for cookies from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the page. You can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
